It's been a while since I posted a Quick Fun idea, these are ideas for super quick and fun play that require no preparation and are easy to pull together. So far we've had duplo colour matching, facepaints, contact paper collage and clothes pegs (pins), this time it's paper plate face masks.
All I did was cut two holes for eyes in some paper plates and gave the boys a bag of crayons.
They soon set to work and had fun discussing who they wanted their masks to be. As they were both in to Avengers and Superheroes at the time we ended up with an Iron Man, Hulk, Spiderman and Thor.
They were pleased with the results and they then enjoyed lots of imaginary play as superheroes. I could have added a popsicle stick or elastic to make these even more mask like, but the boys seemed happy enough with them as they were.
Very quick, very good fun!
