Painting with cars and Paint blog hop!

painting with cars

Hello!  I'm delighted to have you here!  I'm also hugely excited to be co-hosting my first blog hop (link up below), but as the Blogging with kids blog hop is all about paint I thought I'd share a painting project we did a while ago... painting with cars!

We did this as a family, in fact Grandma and Pa also joined in.  It was great fun if a little messy!  I started out by taping together a few sheets of paper and putting them on top of a plastic tarpaulin.

Then I drew on a few roads, poured some paint into trays and handed out some toy cars.

Everyone soon got stuck in using the car wheels to paint.

I think the end results look pretty cool.

Then when I turned my back to put the paint trays away Bud and Champ decided to paint with.... their noses!!!!!  Seriously are everyones kids this daft???

Which meant they ended up looking like this....

...and this.... ah 'sigh' one day we'll doing a paint activity without the boys getting covered in paint, it's just never happened yet!

Have you been painting recently?  If you have then why not join the Paint blog hop?  This blog hop is brought to you by Blogging with Kids, Rainy Day Mum, Making Boys Men, 3 Dinosaurs, The Usual Mayhem, Inspiration Laboratories and Fun A Day.  It's open for 30 days so make sure you pop back and link up your great painting ideas!
