Our boys love dinosaurs, one of Bud's first words was T-Rex and as I type Champ is tucked up in bed with a Triceratops! So as there's a lot of dinosaur play in our house one day a while ago I set up a dinosaur small world for the boys in the garden.
Here's what I did..... I took the boys water/sand table and replaced the water with some compost that we had. I added a couple of upturned flower pots, stones and dried leaves and of course a bunch of dinosaurs!
And, here's a close up!
It really only took 5 minutes to set up and it kept the boys occupied for ages.
They rearranged the scene, swapped dinosaurs and had all kinds of dino battles!
Got dino lovers, but don't fancy setting up a small world? Why not try out a little dino hunt instead?
Do your kids love dinosaurs? How do you play?
Why not check out the NEW Making Boys Men Facebook page!
So fun!! I love all the creative play they get from this. Thank you for sharing at Sharing Saturday!!
