Welcome to another Outdoor Play Party! I've finally got internet up and running after our house move just in time for the latest Party, phew! If you've been playing outdoors with your kids this week then why not link below? In one of the rare outbreaks of sunshine this week we broke out the sprinkler for some water fun. This is how we got on......
We recently bought a sprinkler, a very basic one, but lets face it what more does a sprinkler need to do than spray water? The kids had been desperate to run through it every time we'd set it up for the plants, but it's been freezing here despite the fact it's summer, so on the first available rays of sunshine we let the kids go wild!
As we had other kids over several of whom didn't have swimmers (but don't worry the did have a change of clothes) we let the boys go in the sprinkler fully clothed which only added to their excitement, it clearly seemed very daring to be dressed!
Then we got the tarpaulin out and created a water slide, the kids did have a go but the only photo I have is of Hubby who also clearly had a lot of fun!
And so to the Outdoor Play Party. My fave post from last time is from My Nearest and Dearest who wrote a great post about how to create an Outdoor Play Space, perfect for us as we look to sort out our new garden.
Linking up allows us to share one photo (with appropriate link back) on social media (Facebook, Google+, Pinterest etc) and on the Outdoor Play Party host blogs.
Looks like EVERYONE had a lot of fun. In our house, simply running through the hose makes for a great day. Love sprinklers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen, they had an absolute blast. Hoping the good weather stays long enough for us to give it a go again
DeleteLooks like lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to TGIF! Have a great week,
