When Bud started school I thought he'd come home tired and in need of a rest, how wrong could I be! Turns out he comes home and needs to burn off a little physical energy, so the other day I set up a speedy, super easy obstacle course.
I collected together things we already had in the garden - toy car, kids chairs, bats etc and spaced them out in a line with gaps in between then challenged the two older boys to get from one end to the next without touching the ground.
First, walk the plank....
.... climb the car mountain...
.... and balance over the cliff edge!
Bud in particular did this repeatedly and has asked to do it since. Perfect for burning off some excess energy!
Liked this? Then come back soon!
what a great way for them to get some exercise. it's also something that they can help design. thanks for linking up to tip-toe thru tuesday.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!! Thank you for sharing at Sharing Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI loved obstacle courses as a child. We created them on our neighborhood playgrounds all the time. I'm featuring you this weekend on the Sunday Showcase. :)
